For over 30 years, Ron Bronstein's practice has primarily involved tax planning, estate planning, trust administration, probate matters, and associated litigation and representation before administrative bodies, including state and municipal taxing authorities and the IRS. He represents clients with regard to income tax planning for LLC's, partnerships, corporations, and other business entities; income, estate, gift, and charitable tax planning for individuals and charitable organizations; estates and trusts; probate and trust administration and litigation; taxation transactions; and federal, state, and local taxation controversies. Mr. Bronstein also represents artists and artists' agents.
Mr. Bronstein represents individuals and businesses in connection with tax audits and appeals before the Internal Revenue Service at the administrative level as well as litigation in the United States Tax Court and other federal courts relating to tax matters, including Bankruptcy Court, with respect to state and local tax matters. Mr. Bronstein also represents and consults business entities of all sizes relating to the selection of the appropriate business entity, its formation, operation, sale or reorganization, and disposition and dissolution of such entities with an emphasis on tax planning.
Mr. Bronstein prepares and administers wills and trusts, including charitable trusts and foundations; obtains appointments for representatives in the probate courts for will administration and takes the representative through the entire administrative process; handles appointments of conservators and guardians for minors and incompetents; preparation of premarital agreements; prepares business documents that effectively relate to business owners’ estate and financial planning, including member, partner, and shareholder redemption, cross-purchases, and deferred compensation agreements; and litigates estate and trust-related matters.
